Day 1 :

ARRIVE LEH | ACCLIMATIZATION

The long wait is finally over. After months of preparation and years of dreaming, you touch down in Leh—the gateway to high-altitude adventure. Check in to your hotel and let your body adapt to the thin mountain air. Today is about rest, hydration, and soaking in the calm before the storm. In the evening, take a gentle walk through Leh Market, feel the mountain vibe, and mentally prepare for the epic ride ahead.

Day 2 :

LEH → KARGIL | 220 KM

Engines on. Visors down. The journey begins.

With the thunderous dug-dug-dug of our exhausts echoing through the valleys, the nomadic caravan rolls out on the legendary Leh–Srinagar Highway. Seek blessings at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, experience the mystery of Magnetic Hill, and witness the dramatic confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Ride past the moon-like landscapes of Lamayuru and pause at Mulbekh Monastery before cruising into Kargil. Your first true day as a Himalayan rider.

Day 3 :

KARGIL → PADUM | 240 KM

Today, we ride deep into the heart of Zanskar. The scenery turns wilder with every kilometer as we pass through the breathtaking Suru Valley, Rangdum, and climb over Penzila Pass. The massive Drang Drung Glacier looms in all its icy glory. By evening, we reach Padum, the cultural and spiritual hub of Zanskar. Dinner and overnight stay—far from civilization, closer to the soul.

Day 4 :

PADUM LOCAL EXPLORATION

A slower day to absorb Zanskar’s timeless rhythm. Visit Sani Monastery, one of the oldest in the region, and the sacred Guru Padma Sambhava statue. Lunch at Padum Market offers a glimpse into local life. Post lunch, ride to the serene Sheela Waterfalls. The rest of the day is yours—relax, explore, or simply sit back and let the mountains speak.

Day 5 :

PADUM → SARCHU | 240 KM

This is where the real test begins. Rough roads, river crossings, and long unpaved stretches will push both rider and machine to their limits. Ride past the sacred Gonbo Rangjon, cross Shinkula Pass, descend into Darcha, and trace iconic landmarks like Deepak Taal, Zing Zing Bar, Suraj Taal, and Baralacha La. By nightfall, we roll into Sarchu, tired, dusty, and victorious.

Day 6 :

SARCHU → TSO MORIRI | 220 KM

The high-altitude playground continues. Conquer the legendary Gata Loops, climb Nakee La and Lachung La, and blast across the endless Moore Plains. Ride through Debring, Tsokar, and the geothermal landscapes of Puga before reaching the pristine blue waters of Tso Moriri. Few places on earth feel this untouched.

Day 7 :

TSO MORIRI → HANLE | 150 KM

Wake up to a soul-stirring sunrise over Tso Moriri—pure magic. After breakfast, we ride towards the remote frontier village of Hanle, crossing Mahe Bridge and riding through Nyoma. Isolation, silence, and raw beauty define today’s ride. Hanle welcomes you with starry skies and unmatched serenity.

Day 8 :

HANLE → PANGONG via UMLING LA / MIG LA | 290 KM

The toughest and most epic ride of the expedition.
We start early—this is the longest and most demanding day of the tour. Today, we conquer Umling La, among the highest motorable passes in the world. Ride through Koyul, pay homage at the Rezang La War Memorial, and continue towards the iconic Pangong Lake. Exhausted but exhilarated, we end the day by the shimmering blue waters of Pangong.

Day 09 :

PANGONG → LEH | 150 KM

Another unforgettable sunrise—this time at Pangong. After breakfast, we begin the final ride back to Leh via Durbuk and Chang La. Visit the majestic Thiksey Monastery and the famous Rancho School before rolling back into Leh. Celebration dinner tonight—you’ve earned it.

Day 10 :

LEH DEPARTURE

Time for the final “Julley” to the land of high passes and ancient trails. Share stories, exchange smiles, and say goodbye to fellow nomads who are no longer strangers but family. This ride may end here, but the memories, bonds, and mountain magic will stay with you for life. Until the next adventure—ride on.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made before 45 days prior to the trip will result in 70% refund.

Cancellations made between 30-45 days prior to the trip will result in 50%refund.

Cancellations made 30 days before the trip date will receive no refund.

In case of double sharing bike i.e. 1 bike 2 rider option, if anyone of 2 cancels the trip due to any reason then the other one has to opt for solo ride package.

Booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Pending payments may eventually leads to the cancellation of trip.

Change or Cancellation by DESTINATION ADVENTURE / XKMPH

We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. Occasionally, we may have to make changes due to Force Majeure Events and we reserve the right to do so at any time before or during the trip. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date before or during the trip based on the Force Majeure Events. We also reserve the right under Force Majeure Events to cancel your travel arrangements / offer alternative dates / revise the itinerary before or during the trip. Any additional cost incurred due to the above mentioned reasons will have to be borne by the traveler himself. There shall be no refund to the traveler under Force Majeure Events. Force Majeure Event shall mean and include any circumstance beyond

the reasonable control of XKMPH, including without limitation, any act of nature or the public enemy, accident, explosion, fire, storm, earthquake, flood, drought, perils of the sea, casualty, strikes, lock- outs, labour troubles, riots, sabotage, terrorists acts, embargo, war (whether or not declared),pandemic, epidemic governmental actions, delay in issuance or processing of Visa/permit, change of laws and regulations, orders, or decrees, or other causes of like or different character, etc beyond the control of XKMPH.

If you want to make changes to your trip plan

After you make booking by paying full or partial amount, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by the traveler himself.

Advisory

• Abide by the instructions given by the team leader.
• Do not encourage or take part in littering the vicinity in any form.
• Avoid roaming during the nights without the consent of the tour leaders/facilitators.
• Do not disturb the local environment or life in any form.
• Any external damage to the motorbike or the riding gears due to accident or fall of the motorbike rider is responsible and pay the compensation.
• Company is not responsible for the safety or the insurance (injury or death) claim of the rider or his/her associates in case of an accident. Rider and pillion themselves will be responsible for such cases.
• In case of any medical emergency or hospitalization the rider and pillion needs to pay for their treatments.
• All sightseeing is subject to weather conditions, political conditions in the destination.

• Sunscreen lotion or skin moisturizers.
• Insect repellents.
• Bsnl, Jio, Airtel POSTPAID simcard only.
• Caps/hats, goggles/sunglasses
• Basic medication (if any)
• Good Quality Jacket or any other woolen cloth.
• Valid Driving Wheeler License.
• ID proof.
• Photocopies of ID proof.
• Passport Size Photographs.
• Riding Gear Including Riding gloves, Helmet, Jacket for Motorcycle Clients.

What about mobile and internet access?

Yes Mobile network is available in most places and you can use your mainmobile number if it is a post paid connection. Preferred Network are Jio, Airtel and BSNL.

You may also get local SIM from Leh.

Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. Internet in Ladakh specially in remote areas is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.
